এআই ফিউশন (AI Fusion) এখন ভাইরাল বিষয়। তবে, গাছেদের মধ্যে প্রাকৃতিক ফিউশন চোখের সামনে প্রতিনিয়ত ঘটে চলেছে। সেটা কি কম বিস্ময়কর? গাছে গাছে 🌳 বন্ধন, এক গাছের ওপর আরেক গাছ বড় হওয়া প্রকৃতির বিস্ময়কর জাদু। গাছেদের এই সম্পর্ককে আপনি বলতে পারেন গাছ গাছকে গ্রাস করছে, আবার এক গাছ আরেক গাছে বিলীন হচ্ছে বলতে পারেন। আপনি কোনটি বলবেন?  রাজশাহীর পদ্মাপাড়ে বাবলা গাছকে বিলীন করে বেড়ে উঠছে পাইকড় গাছ।  ওপরের ছবি চারটিতে দেখা যাচ্ছে একটি পাইকড় গাছের বুক চিরে বেড়িয়েছে একটা খেজুর গাছ। আদতে পাইকড় গাছটি খেজুর গাছকে গ্রাস করে বেড়ে উঠেছে। এখানে বলতে পারেন গ্রাস করেনি, খেজুর গাছই পাকুড় গাছে বিলীন হয়েছে। কে জানে? ঘটনাটা রাজশাহীর তানোর উপজেলার।   এই ছবিতে  তিনটা বট গাছ ও দুইটা বট গাছ এক হয়ে আছে। ছবিটা রাজশাহীর বাঘা উপজেলার পাকুড়িয়া গ্রাম থেকে তোলা।  এই ঘটনাগুলোর পিছনে যাই থাক এগুলো বর্তমানের কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তার কারসাজির চেয়েও অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং বিস্ময়কর।

And the cause for their concern is the perplexing government attitude towards export of organic mangoes. The organic mango growers in the region had invested earnestly to improve cultivation methods, prodded by an industry crisis several years ago brought about by excessive chemical use on mango crops. They introduced the fruit-bagging method, which drastically cuts down the number of times mangoes are sprayed with pesticides before reaching the market. Shamsul Huda, a beneficiary of the government's social safety net programmes, lives in a rickety little tin- shack in Noboganga area under Paba upazila of Rajshahi. With a mud-oven and two bamboo benches out front, the ramshackle structure resembles a shop more than it does a home. However, this is with good reason as Huda once used to sell tea and dry food items from the stall. "But it has become by home now," the 82-year-old said while describing how the government allowance he receives has fallen short of protecting him from complete poverty. Huda was 65 when he first started getting an old age allowance from the government in 2005. The shop still provided an income at the time and his sons where there to help out too. "I was doing well back then with all these helps," he said. But even though the monthly old age allowance was increased to Tk 500 from Tk 180 in fiscal year 2016-17, Huda's growing age and deteriorating health eventually caught up to him. ...

H Ataur Rahman Akib started fishing when he was four and he was largely focused on his hobby and making baits until 2018. His passion took a new turn in the year when an amateur angler sent Akib Tk 2,000 and asked him to make baits for him. This was the beginning. When demands for his baits rose, he turned his hobby into a full-time commercial business. He did not have to look back since then. Today, Akib, who hails from Rajshahi, has a factory on the premises of his residence in the Thakurmara area in the northern city that manufactures eco-friendly baits for game fishing. In the last four years, baits made by Akib's company, Primitive Fishing by Akib, have gained immense popularity across the country and also beyond borders. রাজশাহীর পবা উপজেলায় আমান কোল্ড স্টোরেজে রাখা আলুতে পচন ধরেছে। হিমাগারের শীতলীকরণ যন্ত্রের ত্রুটির কারণে আলু পচে যাওয়ার অভিযোগ তুলে কৃষকরা হিমাগার কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে ক্ষতিপূরণ দাবি করছেন। হিমাগার কর্তৃপক্ষের হিসাব অনুযায়ী, এখানে ১ লাখ ৬৬ হাজার বস্তা আলু আছে। ৫০ কেজির প্রতি বস্তা আলুর বর্তমান দাম ৬০০ টাকা। সব আলু নষ্ট হয়ে গেলে ক্ষতি হবে প্রায় ১০ কোটি টাকা। কৃষকদের দাবি, সব আলু পচে গেছে। বস্তায় একটা আলু পচে যাওয়া মানে সব আলু নষ্ট হওয়া। এগুলো আর খাওয়ার উপযোগী থাকে না। হিমাগারটিতে এমন পরিস্থিতিই তৈরি হয়েছে। আজ বুধবার সকালে শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত গুদাম ঘর থেকে আলুর বস্তা বের করে হিমাগারের ভেতরেই বাতাস দেওয়া হচ্ছিল। তখনই কৃষকরা আলু পচে যাওয়ার কথা জানতে পারেন। ক্ষতিপূরণের দাবিতে তারা হিমাগারের সামনে বিক্ষোভ করতে থাকেন। হিমাগার কর্তৃপক্ষ আগামী ১০ দিনের মধ্যে তাদের ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়ার আশ্বাস দেয়। এরপর কৃষকেরা শান্ত হন। বিকেলে হিমাগারে গিয়ে দেখা গেছে, যে বস্তা খোলা হচ্ছে সেখান থেকেই বের হচ্ছে পচা আলু। হিমাগারের সামনে আলু চাষি ও ব্যবসায়ীরা অভিযোগ করেন, হিমাগারের গ্যাস মেশিন খারাপ থাকার পরও আলু তোলা হয়েছে।...
