Rab Seized 925gm Heroin, held 1 in C'Nawabganj

Rapid Action Battalion-5 of Rajshahi (Rab) seized 925 gram heroin in 8 packets from inside tubes of a bicycle in Old bus stand areas of Chapainawabganj district yesterday.

 

The elite forces held one Badal Mia of Bakhor village for he was bringing in the heroin into the country from India by the bicycle.

 

According to Rab officials, one of their patrol team, over a tip off, challenged Badal as he was passing by the old bus stand and recovered 8 packets of heroin from tubes of his bicycle.

 

Rab officials said, preparations are on way accusing Badal in smuggling and drug peddling cases.
